2.8 Removable/optional components
You may need to remove previously installed system components when installing
or removing system devices. Or you may need to install the optional components
into the system. This section tells how to remove/install the following components:
1. System fans
2. Optical drive (optional)
3. Redundant power supply module (optional)
4. ASUS PIKE RAID card (optional)
5. ASUS ASMB4-iKVM (optional)
Ensure that the system is turned off before removing any components.
2.8.1 System fans
To uninstall the system fans:
1. Press inward to release the system
fan.
2. Lift the fan, then set aside.
3. Repeat step 1 to 2 to uninstall the
other system fans.
